Principal and General Practitioner
Dr Mary Ross
FRACGP, UNSW MBBS DA DCH

Dr Mary Ross graduated from the University of NSW in 1991 and previously worked in Canberra, the UK, and in her self-established Tumut GP practice for 15 years. Dr Ross established Trail Street Medical Centre in 2011 with the aim to provide quality and accessible medical services to the Wagga Wagga community.

Professional interests

Family medicine, mental health and drug & alcohol.

Personal interests

Family time with her two sons, horse racing and travel.

General Practitioner
Dr Emma Vieira
FRACGP, BMed (Hons), awarded the University of Newcastle (Faculty of Health) medal

Dr Emma Vieira completed her studies at the University of Newcastle. Originally from Dubbo, she has now settled at The Rock with her husband and three young children. She has extra training in emergency medicine and paediatrics from her previous experience at Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

Paediatrics, geriatrics, and chronic disease.

Personal interests

Spending time with family, cooking and tennis.

Dr Udara Gunawardane

Dr Udara Gunawardane graduated from the University of NSW in 2013. He completed his hospital training in Sydney hospitals (St George/Sutherland/Nepean) prior to joining the GP Synergy registrar training program. Dr Udara recently completed a rural medical term in General Practice/Hospital placement in Temora. He has now settled back in Wagga with his young family.

Dr Jane Xu
MBBS

Dr Jane graduated from the University of NSW (Sydney) where she gained experience at various hospitals around Sydney. She worked at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown in a variety of areas including Intensive Care, Cardiology, Paediatrics, Emergency and Obstetrics/Gynaecology before making the decision to enter GP training.

Women’s health, paediatrics, skin, and chronic disease.

Personal interests

Spending time with her husband and reading.

Dr Taliha Adeel
 MBBS

Dr Taliha completed her hospital training and placement at Nepean Hospital Sydney prior to moving to Wagga in 2019 for General Practice Training.  Dr Adeel lives in Wagga with her husband and 2 young children.
